Fantasy Rêveries

Fantasy Rêveries program explores the piano as a realm of imagination and storytelling.

The story begins with J. Corigliano’s Fantasia on an Ostinato, a powerful contemporary work that transforms rhythm into a mesmerizing sonic landscape.  Fauré’s elegant Barcarolle No. 3 introduces shimmering color and lyrical grace, while R. Schumann’s Intermezzi open a window into the intimate emotional world of Romanticism.

The journey continues with M. Silvanskyi’s playful and imaginative Adventures of Baron Munchausen, inspired by the legendary tales of the eccentric storyteller. Three miniatures from F. Mendelssohn’s cycle The Year add a final touch of poetic reflection, capturing fleeting moods and seasonal atmospheres.

Together, these works form a musical universe where fantasy, storytelling, and emotion intertwine.
